Min-Guide aimed to build the repository of all minerals policies across Europe, and build around a community of experts and NCPs that would help to keep it updated, including direct access for NCPs to add, edit and update policy information.

The project
A secure and sustainable supply of minerals starts with knowing the rules. Min-Guide built the online Minerals Policy Guide — a repository of minerals policies across the EU and its Member States — and grew a community of experts and national contact points who keep it alive, with direct access to add, edit and update policy information. Policy Laboratories and three major conferences turned the repository into a working network.
The challenge
Minerals policy is scattered across dozens of national systems and specialist institutions. The challenge was to make it findable and comparable in one place — and to build the community whose contributions would keep the resource accurate after the project's own work ended.
